After 16 wonderful years, it's time to say "Farewell".
This has been a an experience filled with creative food, music, art and wonderful friendships, in a town I dearly love, but there comes a time... and this is it. It is so gratifying when people work together for a common goal, a common good. This community has that virtue in spades. It makes me very happy if Sunflowers, in some small way, has contributed to the positive efforts of our neighbors and has helped to support artists, musicians and local growers as well. I would like to thank my friends and customers for sticking with me through this journey, and to celebrate and recognize the creativity of our culinary staff and the dedication of our service staff to our customers through the years. I am deeply indebted to them. For me, when I have moved a bit of the accumulation of "stuff," I will continue to cater smaller events and to make meals for folks when needed. I am so grateful for all of you and for your support, your laughter, your sharing the ups and downs of your lives.
"Still, round the corner, there may wait a new road or a secret gate." J.R.R. Tolkein
